DeLarge enters his garage, tagged confiscated weapons sit next to the entrance. Luke’s dried blood splatters the ground. A group of people sit around a table, their ages range from 20-40. DeLarge joins them at the table, he is content. The obnoxious Riley, an arrogant street dealer, tells DeLarge to speak. DeLarge contentness vanishes. He stares at Riley causing him to slump back into his chair in retreat. DeLarge begins the meeting. First by letting everone know that someone will die by the end of the conversation, he does this in a cheery way, contrasting the grim content of his speech. He takes a moment and calms himself. He asks Beard and Slim who it is, it’s Luke. DeLarge is pleased, he stands and begins walking to the door to answer it. On the way to the door he asks Riley whether he reminds him of Alex from A Clockwork Orange. He giggles and opens the door, swinging his arms open in welcome. Luke enters, he looks toward Riley, he recognises him. Riley groans aggressively, as if to warn Luke. Luke doesn’t respond. DeLarge ushers Luke to Riley’s seat. Luke sits, wary of Riley behind him. DeLarge explains that he knows that Luke knows Riley, that they worked together. He says he knows every single hand that comes in contact with his product. DeLarge explains that Riley won’t be here much longer, that he’ll die. DeLarge opens a cabinet, an array of bats and clubs are lined up. He grabs the dirties, bloodiest, beaten up one of the lot. DeLarge askes if Luke knows what worthless pion went to a known police hideout. Luke doesn’t asnwer his question. It was Luke. DeLarge explains that he plans to kill Luke, just not yet.
