I have had this passion for STEM ever since I was a kid. STEM has always fascinated me due to the potential to drive innovation and make a significant impact on society. Since my childhood, I have been intrigued by the latest technology and scientific breakthroughs. In high school, I excelled in math and science, which reinforced my interest in pursuing a career in STEM. Dermatology is an exciting field that involves the diagnosis and treatment of various skin conditions, ranging from acne and rashes to serious diseases like melanoma. As the largest organ in the body, skin plays a crucial role in our health and well-being, and being able to help people overcome skin-related problems can be incredibly rewarding. Overall, becoming a dermatologist can be a challenging yet fulfilling career that allows one to help others and make a positive impact on society. I envision myself working at a dermatology clinic or launching my own practice that has the potential to transform skin and accelerate progress. The career aspirations that I hold are life-changing because I want to create innovative solutions that significantly impact society and make the world a better place. This scholarship will help me achieve my goals considering that it will remove any financial hardships I face. It would relieve stress considering that paying for college is hard and would help me from financial stress getting in the way from reaching my future career. Growing up, my parents always told me to do the best I can in life and in school. The main reason why I was always reminded of this was because my parents never had this opportunity. They never had the opportunity to show their full potential and make a difference in the world. Growing up in Ghana was hard for my parents to afford
