In the book Crescendo there are lots of twists and turns. In the story Nora is hanging out with Scott more and more. Patch tries to warn her that something is going to happen. Since the archangels are watching Nora and Patch closely, they can’t talk to each other out in the open. Patch figures out how to talk to Nora in her dream. Since Patch isn’t Nora’s guardian angel anymore, he was assigned to Marcie. That’s why they were hanging out a lot. In this journal I will be clarifying the end of Crescendo, visualizing the ending of Crescendo, and predicting the beginning of Silence. In this paragraph I will talk about three things that will clarify the end of the book Crescendo. In the end Rixon was the antagonist and tried to kill Nora. The first thing I will talk about is what happened when Nora passed out. The scene cut from the little shack under the tower of doom, to the ambulance that Nora was in. When Vee trusted Rixon to escape the park with Nora she was very explicit that she would be by the dumpsters in her car waiting for them. I can smell the scent of fair food like corndogs and cotton candy and the scent of fresh popcorn popping in the breeze. I can see the only light on in the whole tunnel was blue, like the color of the sky on a warm spring day. My muscles in my legs are starting to get sore from the running through the tunnels. She just wanted to be in her farmhouse being comforted by Vee. Nora was asking questions trying to buy time so Patch could come and save her. She finally said, “Patch could show up any minute now and stop you.”(Fitzpatrick 399). The last thing I can see is the gun pointed at me and Patche’s shadow creeping up behind Rixon. I liked the book Crescendo because it was easy to see the scenes
