VI. Simons encounter with the Lord of the Flies Lord of the flies is another meaning for satin. Lord of the flies is a translation of the word Beelzebub. Simons encounter foretells the future that somebody is going to die when the lord of the flies says, “We are going to have fun on this island!” because if satin says we are going to have fun that means somebody is going to die. When Simon disobeyed The Lord of the Flies he was murdered by the kids on the beach.
