During World War II, the German Reich marched across the entire continent of Europe. During the Holocaust, many people became discouraged and lost hope in the future of society. However, the excerpts from “Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl,” written by herself, and “Hitler Youth: Growing up in Hitler’s Shadow” by Susan Campbell Bartoletti, prove that being positive and persevering is the best thing that someone can do. Whether hiding from the Nazis or already taken by them, the best response to have during conflict and chaos is maintaining a positive outlook on life and to persist through difficult times.

Well, conflict can affect people in many different ways because it is a disagreement or an argument between two or more people. Conflict is well demonstrated in the Anne Frank Diary film. One of the conflicts in the movie is Anne getting mad at her mom, Edith, and Mr. Dussel, the dentist.
It’s significant because it tells us that Anne is a genuine girl and really means it when she apologizes and when Mrs. Van Daan speaks, it’s more of an annoyed woman who’s sensitive about her property. Another example from the play is, “Mrs. Frank. Anne, you must

“Whenever you’re in conflict with someone, there is one factor that can make the difference between damaging your relationship and deepening it. That factor is attitude.” William James explains that positive attitude can help in many situations. In “The diary of Anne Frank” by Anne Frank, she keeps her head held high in the Annex and has a positive attitude. A letter from “Dear Ms. Breed” by Louise Ogawa, has a similar response.
As humans, we often make our own conflicts and struggles. Because of this, there will always be a battle between us, both external and internal. Our response to conflict allows us to come back and survive these battles, but one response always seems to work in one way or another. From a small diary of a young girl, a collection of encouraging letters, and an empowering speech that echoed around the globe, the best response to conflict is a positive attitude that can get people through hard times and influence you to work harder to help. Anne Frank is an interesting character.

In what we have been reading about the main conflict is the Holocaust. I am going to be talking a little more on what happened in The Diary of Anne Frank but not fully so. During the Holocaust there were these people named Nazis and they would take Jews and send them to concentration camps. The way the Jews would try to avoid being captured was the Jews would find places to hide and they would be Completely silent so that they would not get caught. I don't think that was the best thing to do

Utilitarianism is a consequentialist theory, and it is the idea that the only thing that makes an action right or wrong are the consequences resulting from that action. In other words, the action is only right if it produces the greatest net well-being, or happiness, for all parties. Deontology is the concept that there are at least some other factors of an action that determine if it was right or wrong, not just it's consequences. These are two conflicting ethical standpoints, which can cause disagreements, when applying them to a scenario. We can take a look from both views and determine how we would act in a certain situation and compare the results.
