Annelies Marie Frank Hollander was a Jewish girl born in Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany. When she was thirteen years old the Second World War or the holocaust begins. On Friday, 12 June of 1942 because of her birthday her parents give to her a diary. In this diary, Anne put all its secrets, in addition to put everything that happened with respect to the war from the perspective of a Jew. Anne family consisted of her father Otto Heinrich Frank, her mother Edith Hollander and her older sister Margot Frank. In that time they were hiding in the building where his father work called Opekta but they all called it the Secret Annexe. Anne lived in apartments on Merwedeplein, Netherlands. The story begins when the family of Anne presents her with a notebook of color black and red on her birthday, but she uses it as a diary. In 1940 the Second World War begins and the Germans invaded all Holland, the freedom of the Jews disappeared. With the Germans laws the Jewish were restricted to do many things like they cannot go to the cinema, they have to be in Jewish schools and they have to be indoors by eight o’ clock at night and they must wear the Star of David. The Germans wanted to take Margot away so Frank family decide to have a hiding place which it was eventually Anne’s father office building called Opekta. They move on Wednesday, 9 July 1942 and they left their old apartment in disorder to think that what had suddenly abandoned with a note in which it followed that they had escaped to Switzerland. They called this place the Secret Annexe. In the bottom floor there is the ware house, in the middle are two offices and up to the third floor is their Secret Annexe. The only ones that knew about the Annexe was Otto Frank’s friends called Victor Kugler, Johannes Kleiman, Miep Gies and Elisabeth Bep
