Difference Between Martin Luther King Jr And Malcom X

In the 1960s African American people were not getting jobs at businesses owned by white people. During this time period African Americans wanted civil rights for themselves. The main two people that actually are know for what they did for the African American community is due to Martin Luther King Jr and Malcom X. The importance of these people is they helped get jobs for African Americans. What Martin Luther King Jr and Malcom X were trying to do with their speeches is to inspire the African American community to get jobs or even create jobs themselves. Both MLK and Malcom X have similar ideas with what they are doing and in their speeches, but they also had some different ways of doing things.

Both MLK Jr and Malcom X want African Americans to be able to get jobs. This just shows Malcom X and MLK Jr both wanted equal oppurtunites to get a job as everyone else did. "This is nonviolence at its peak of power, when it cuts into the profit margin of a business in order to bring about a more just distribution of jobs and oppurtunities." Unlike MLK, Malcom X wanted African Americans to create jobs for themselves and others within the community. Malcom X also did not want to rely on white people, but MLK wanted African Americans to get jobs at white owned businesses.
