Trujillo vs. Hitler The definition of a dictator is a ruler with complete and absolute power over a country that is usually received forcefully. Adolf Hitler and Rafael Trujillo are two examples of powerful dictators that impacted their country immensely. During their reins of power, German and Dominican people were abused, manipulated, and many were killed. Hitler and Trujillo have several similarities on how they dictated; although, the ways in which they chose to use their power differed.
Chipotle and Qdoba each have their similarities and differences. Dating back to the 1990s, Chipotle and Qdoba were both created within a few years of each other. Corn was associated with indians and therefore seen as inferior while wheat associated with europeans was considered superior. This cultural struggle was encompassed by the tortilla discourse. While some mexicans were adapting to some european ways, substituting corn for wheat was the hardest for Mexicans. The main reason Europeans launched this discourse was in order to create a wheat market in the country and put the rural workers into the market economy. Over time the discourse achieved its goal.

Mexico and Cuba underwent major revolutions led by rebels who opposed their current presidents. The revolutionaries in both countries were mainly concerned with the industrialization and modernization that was occurring within their countries. The uprisings resulted in the countries shared beliefs against foreign imperialism, against elites having so much control on their counties and push for land reforms. In the long run Mexico faired better after their revolution than Cuba. Cuba still experiences hostile tensions with the U.S. today and still practices rationing.
Contrast between Chile and USA During my whole life I’ve been back and forth, living between Chile and USA. I’ve lived in both countries for almost the same amount of years each. I think if I hadn’t lived here when I was smaller, I would feel a big cultural shock. Geographically Chile is very extensive and in length, we have a great variety of climates and landforms. We can take the bus from the middle of a region and in 1hour be either at the mountains full of snow or at the sea.

Cuba and Mexico share more than just language and existing in what some call Latin America, they are brothers that were raised by the same family, but after coming of age and leaving home they went in very different directions. Cuba and Mexico both experienced the extended struggle to become independent nations and each was forced into a bloody revolution by a different set of circumstances. It is clear that Mexico experienced more change and is to be considered more

Cinco de Mayo is like Independence Day for the United States. Cinco de Mayo is a bigger deal in the United States than it is in most Spanish speaking countries. In the USA when we celebrate Independence Day we get the day off work, school, and we have a big party with friends and family. We grill food for everyone to eat, we stay up really late celebrating the holiday. In Mexico they have parades, food, music, dancing etc.
Traditionally, Mexicans tend to take their meals much later than their American neighbors—the majority of families take their lunch between the hours of 2:00 and 3:00 p.m., and dinner between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m.—though lately, mealtime trends appear to be shifting toward earlier times (Mexican Eating Habits,

The gods and their sacrifices were very important to the Aztecs and the Incas. The difference between the two is that the Aztecs sacrificed humans instead of animals in their religion.
