Mislead In life, people often see how events can go unexpected. Most of the time in those events, people do not think of the outcome or who may be affected before a person proceeds with his actions. A well know writer, William Shakespeare, was known to portray unexpected event to life through plays. In Romeo and Juliet, no one knew both lovers would die. Look at the play Julius Caesar, no one expected his life to end at the hands of his senators. Illustrating the unexpected was Shakespeare's forte in tragedies. In 1606, The Scottish Play, also know as Macbeth, was performed in the theatres of England. The play presents a series of experiences in which the main character makes decisions that ultimately lead to his death. Continually, throughout the play one will see Macbeth (the main character) make decisions he regrets, however he turns around and repeats the same actions. Furthermore, situations that took place throughout the play alter Macbeth’s persona.From the beginning of the play to the end, a viewer can identify differences in Macbeth’s character. Macbeth become ambitious. Macbeth was determined to prove no one could beat him. Macbeth unrealistic goals caused him to become tyrannical and make unhonorable choices (Fonash). In 4.1.77-79, Macbeth was advised to beware of Macduff. He attacks Macduff’s family. When it comes time to face Macduff one on one, Macbeth apologized for killing his family- showing guilt again and another example of how Macbeth knows he took things too far (Fonash). At this event, Macbeth talks about his ambition. In the end, Macbeth loses his life because he believed no one could defeat him. The witches said no one born of women would be able to kill him.
