William Shakespeare to this day is one of the most influential English writers there has ever been. Shakespeare's Macbeth is one of his greatest tragedies and it is the last one to be written from the four tragedies. Shakespeare’s Macbeth was inspired by Rapheal Holinshed’s Chronicles of England, Scotland and Ireland. He used a lot of scenes that are similar to the ones in Rapheal’s work. Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth changes quite a bit as the story progresses because it goes from thinking that Macbeth is an honorable and loyal person to his king to becoming a man of corruption.
