Romeo and Juliet, the tragic love that only led to sorrow and death, but what events caused this bitter ending? In the play Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare two lovers find each other in forbidden love from their feuding families. This love leads to a secret marriage that causes them to want to run away together. When Romeo kills Tybalt he is banished from Verona and their plan is foiled except this leads to a new plan for Juliet to be with Romeo. Yet when an important letter is never delivered to Romeo it leads hims to think that Juliet is dead when she is not. This simple misunderstanding leads Romeo to kill himself and when Juliet finds out about Romeo 's she to tragically commits suicide. The most important decision that lead to this ending
