Bright stars fill the Milky Way galaxy with beauty. Many solar systems revolve around the galaxy. The Milky Way is the galaxy we live in. Even though many people only know the Milky Way as the galaxy we live in, there is actually a lot more to it than you may think.
1. Our galaxy is so big, we haven't even gotten out of it. Do you realize how big the Milky Way really is? In school we learned the sun is gigantic, but it's tiny compared to the galaxy. This sun is 432,288 miles across and the galaxy is supposedly 6,213,711,922 miles wide. It takes 250,000,000 light years for the sun to orbit the galaxy. There are approximately 100 billion different solar systems in the Milky Way. Our dolor system is 25,000 light years away from the center of our galaxy. Our galaxy is so big we have only gone 19.5 kilometers from home. The farthest humans have gone is to the moon and back, which is only 238,900 miles away.
2. Our neighboring galaxy is Andromeda Andromeda is about 2.537 million light years away. You can see andromeda from the naked eye on Earth all year round because of its brightness. For us it look at it, it will look like a fuzzy star. But only with special equipment, you will be able to see the full beauty of Andromeda. Scientists believe that one day both of our galaxy will combine and create one big galaxy. We know

A black hole is nothing but empty space that has a gravitational force that nothing can get past it, not even light. It is almost like a massive, vigorous vacuum making it the second to largest black hole astronomers have ever seen. Two million years ago, the black hole was 100 times more powerful than it is today. Scientist are confused why the black hole is weakening because it's suppose to be the opposite. Sagittarius A is about 26,000 light years away from Earth and it is 100 more massive than the
