The Muslims holy bible is called the Quran. In the Quran, there are very appealing messages to those on the outside. In one verse, it states that, “Whoever killed a human being… shall be deemed as having killed mankind; and… whoever saved a human life shall be deemed as having saved all mankind.” (Document B) To most people, this shows equality. The word that all humans are interconnected and you matter appeals to countless people.

The Articles of Confederation needed to be removed, the rules put in place were not working to help the government and they only made things worse. Then, a new idea was thrust upon the states, The Constitution. The Constitution provided a way to have equal power among people, provided individual rights and it gave the option for change.
Christianity and Islam are two very different but also very similar religions. They both share some beliefs, like a monotheistic god, hell and heaven, and prophets for said god. But they also view traders with similar and different attitudes, like how they viewed selling an item for more than it is worth. They both believed that trading was unjust due to its methods of dishonesty and bribery. In the Judaism religion there is a wide range of text that is taken into account as well as practices, theological position and different forms of organization. Judaism can be mapped back to the promise God made to Abraham and his descendants (Genesis chap.17). God told Abraham that his offspring’s would receive the land of Canaan and will encompassed an area spreading from the Nile to the Euphrates Rivers. I believe that Christianity was the first to come about in the 5th or 6th century, then Islam came about in the 7th century, it is hard to tell what information is correct and what is not because much of the information is conflicting. Polytheism and Monotheism In Ancient Cultures In numerous ancient civilizations cultures were categorized as being polytheistic in religion, that is the practice of worshiping multiple gods, goddesses. The most prominent and well remembered of polytheistic culture was the greeks. From our source book, “Hesiod, Theology” explains the story of the a war between the Titans and the Olympian gods, which is the basis for the creation of the greek gods and goddesses(Source One).
