With the vast possibilities and the fast creation of inventions and innovation in this free world of creativity, the probability of creating more machines is about more than half of the scale – this is to the extent of creating alternatives for a human teacher – a mechanical or shall be known as a robot teacher. Since the beginning of the innovation on machines, humans have been so creative such that they have created enough just to improve and lessen the work labor of humans. And, in the sense of education or learning, humans have also been using machines to gain and improve their knowledge on things – in example are the computers or even the creation of electronic toys for children. Although this time it is, in fact, a real robot teacher …show more content…
In fact, scientists see it as the solution to education such that it could teach less fortunate children which has no contact with technology. Such use of robot teacher also gives people the advantage of cheaper education such that robot teachers do not get paid. Thus, the implementation and/or use of robot teachers might lower the price for education. Moreover, since robot teachers are programmed to do their job, they will not make mistakes. In fact, they would give the students accurate, direct to the point, and clear lessons or examples. Accordingly, students could get high quality information. And, curriculum wise, robot teachers focus on the agenda of finishing lessons on time. To make this happen, the robot teacher uses new and up-to-date methods of teaching which may attract students and make them listen and participate. (Soffar, 2016) …show more content…
Many schools do not have plentiful of money; hence, they do not pay their teachers. Ergo, they would not be able to afford the robot teacher even at the lowest price. In fact, it would even cost them more money to spend since robots need electricity and electricity costs a lot too. Furthermore, implementing this technological advancement in the classroom will require the long-existing infrastructure for the electricity and internet, instructor devices such as desktops, laptops, and/or other gadgets such as tablets are needed to enable the use of this technological based education. Thus, there will be more expenses for the school to cover. Another disadvantage is that robots do not have feelings, thus, if a student feels down if s/he could not understand the lesson, the teacher would not be able to understand. Consequently, it would not be able to help the students get over things and make them feel better. (Soffar, 2016) Accordingly, robots are not inspiring teachers compared to the humans. As said, it is programmed to give students
