The three reasons are, she has received great awards, and she has made great contributions to the astronomy community. My first reason for Caroline Herschel overcoming great roadblocks and achieving great feats is all the accomplishments and awards she has received. Caroline was the first ever woman to discover a comet.

Herschel, an amateur astronomer, was not seeking to discover a new planet. Besides general curiosity, his motivations appear to be money, prestige, and power. He was looking for double stars as a way to measure stellar parallax. He had built his own 7ft reflector telescope which he moved to his house in Bath. There he discovered what would later be called Uranus.

William Herschel discovered the planet Uranus in the year of 1781. He was a man that was interested in the sky. He would watch the sky at night and all the way into the early morning. One night as Herschel was watching the stars in the night sky, he noticed a “star” that was bigger than the rest.
Uranus Uranus, the first god of the sky and lord of the universe. We was born from the Chaos and Gaea. Chaos was pretty much nothing and Gaea was the goddess of the Earth pretty much mother nature. Uranus had 18 children 12 titans, 3 cyclopes, and 3 heratoncheires. His children were Cronus, Rhea, Hyperion, Mnemosyne, Themis, Coeus, Phoebe, Prometheus, Epimetheus, Metis, Oceanus, and Tethys.
The discovery of Uranus was a pretty big achievement for the astronomical world. It showed many that there was the possibility of many other planets existing in our solar system past Saturn. There wasn’t really that much thought put into identifying other planets past Saturn since almost everyone did not think that there would be planets out there. This all changed after William Herschel’s discovery in 1781. While it does mark an important achievement for the astronomical world, I do not think that he was really intending on finding a new planet, since it was generally accepted that there were not more for the past 2,000 years.
CAUCASIAN MOUNTAINS- On January 6th, the popular Titan Prometheus was freed once and for all. After angering Zeus and stealing his beloved flower of fire, Prometheus was sentenced to 200 years of being chained to the Caucasian mountains. “My intentions were not meant to be harmful at all, I only tried to save the men on earth by giving them a chance to protect themselves.” Prometheus finally broke his long overdue silence and spoke in his defence.

They also held to the geocentric theory (all planets, heavenly bodies and the sun revolving around the earth) put forth by Ptolemy and Aristotle because of how neatly it could fit into the current teachings. Thereafter, the first to confirm the existence was Aleksander Wolszczan, a Polish astronomer in the year 1922. Planets were found to orbit around a highly magnetized white-dwarf star named Pulsar. Several detections of exoplanets were discovered later till date. But only recently, the existence was discovered more practically by a group of scientists among which, Sara is one. The team recorded the first light emitted from an exoplanet and the first spectrum of an exoplanet.
Saturn is the second largest planet and sixth number planet of our solar system. Saturn is a gas giant made up of hydrogen and helium. It is big enough to hold more than 760 Earths within it, and is second massive planet after Jupiter, roughly 95 times Earth 's mass. However, Saturn has the lowest density among all the planets of solar system .It spins faster than any other planet except Jupiter which help Saturn with its magnetic field which is about 578 times more powerful than Earth 's. Although Saturn has at least 62 moons but its largest moon, Titan, is slightly bigger than Mercury, and is the second-largest moon in the solar system after Jupiter 's moon Ganymede (our moon is fifth largest).Although it is the most interesting planet
One of the most well known astronomers of all time is Nicolaus Copernicus. He was known to think outside of the box and dreamt of bigger things in life. Copernicus did not see the world and its surroundings like everyone else did. Having such a brilliant mind helped him discover an important theory. Many scientists and astronomers would never see our solar system the same.
