“Discrimination in the 21st Century” Victoria Johnson over a hundred years there has been discrimination terms like race, sex or religion. Those are the major cases of discrimination of course, but the disabled community is barely noticed. Even though in 1990, Congress passed the Americans with Disabilities Act, society hasn't still accepted the disabled community there are several difficulties challenges that disabled people go through every day like keeping relationships and having friendships or even keeping up with their life with being judged and criticized because a condition they were born with and can't help they can't change or even control it . This society has still criticized and judge people because of their condition, even though time as past there are still discriminated in the disabled. Through the years disabled community discrimination is rarely recognized because normal people in this society push the situation over like it`s not a big thing which is not because discrimination happens every day. Direct discrimination is mostly direct of who you are, who someone thinks you are or even someone you are. “Never judge a book by its cover” It's unlawful for a person to judge you because what they stand for in the social people thinks there believes are more superior than anyone else and who else see other else is beneath them.
