Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort is a place where dreams come true.
It is a setting where adults are reminded of wonderful childhood memories, and a venue that children will never forget. Located at 1180 Seven Seas Drive in Orlando, Florida, is an enchanting world where the atmosphere is different then any other, the smell of delicious food lingers from every entrance to every exit, and mind-blowing rides that can make one cry from joy or scream from sheer terror. These factors are what make Magic Kingdom “The Happiest Place on Earth.” To begin, Magic Kingdom would not be as successful without its unique atmosphere. When walking down Main Street U.S.A, speaker like objects are placed along the stores known as "smellitizers". Smellitizers release mouth watering scents to pull customers into the shops and bakeries. When passing The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, the smellitizer will push off the aroma of freshly baked cookies and cotton candy which underline the smell of sweet vanilla waffles. Whenever in Germany Pavilion, do as the Germans (and everyone else) do; go to Karamell Kuche. Karamell Kuche is a “caramel kitchen" that puts caramel on everything from apples to chocolate. The most evident smell found within in Magic Kingdom is the buttery scent of freshly popped popcorn, which travels throughout the whole kingdom as a result of popcorn stations located at every corner. It might be hard to believe, but food is not the only scent wafting around. Many say that the rides give off a scent that stays the whole day. Water used within the water rides contain a certain "potion" with a smoky hint to it, and 3-D/4-D movies share scents that go along with the film, such as warm apples and cinnamon
