Civil disobedience is not only the breaking of a law, but also defiance of moral code. In the famous play, The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare , the story depicts two lovers in Verona, Italy who are torn apart by a feud that forces them to meet their end. Holding their grudge, the Montagues and Capulets express too much pride to let the feud go. The downfall of the couple is caused by a chain of reaction of broken rules and ultimately results in the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
Finding Nemo, a popular children’s movie, the protagonist Marlin, goes on a heroic journey trying to reunite with his son. As a father, he goes through a lot of obstacles as well as success. Marlin’s greater truth was that he realized how to be a better parent by letting Nemo learn on his own and that he isn’t as weak as he thinks he is. Because this story is told from 2 perspectives, both Marlins and Nemo’s. Nemo has a greater truth as well.
An overwhelming amount of crimes that are committed are motivated by hatred. The behavior portrayed in both stories was motivated by hate and lead to heinous outcomes. In Romeo and Juliet, by Shakespeare, Romeo was pushed to his limits when his friend Mercutio was killed. Even the most civil people can surprise you when their actions are motivated by hate. In Saki’s short story “The Interlopers”, Ulrich and Georg continued their hate for each other in a life-threatening situation.
Disobedience may carry an unfavorable connotation but, it can a be beneficial trait for an individual who is willing to rebel against authority especially when Romeo falls in love over a forbidden love ,Juliet. The famous Play created by William Shakespeare,”Romeo and Juliet” ,is about a young prince of the King and Queen Montague who inevitably falls hopelessly in love of the Princess of their rivals,the Capulets. The pair met at the Capulet's royal Masquerade ball which was the perfect way for Romeo to crash the party ,that night the moment they had their eyes meet each other,it was love at first sight.

Juliet’s Rebellion In the play Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare the character Juliet rebels against her family, by falling in love with Romeo, her family’s enemy's son. This rebellion causes the arising of many conflicts Juliet has to face and overcome. Rebellion is the definition of resisting authority and control. In the play Juliet starts to have an awakening in her mind that helps her realize she wants to start making her own decision, not based on her parents, not based on the people, but her own.
First of all, let’s look at what dissent means. The word dissent means to hold or express an oppositional opinion to widely held perspectives. Why do people dissent? By resisting and rebelling against public views and ideas, dissenting voices challenge the limitations of the expectations set within the norm of a specific or international community. In Romeo and Juliet, the title characters dissent against the norm of the Elizabethan Society of the time in different forms and extents which in the end takes a toll on each of them as they fight against other’s opinions and views.
Control is defined as “the power to influence or direct people's behavior or the course of events”. Having the power to direct decisions, behaviors, and action, can cause someone to act against rules and wishes. Control and rebellion is seen in both Williams Shakespeare drama, Romeo and Juliet, in which children of feuding families fall in love, and Aisha Saeeds Written in the Stars, a story in which a daughter of a Pakistani family is forced to live by the rules of the religion. A theme that can be found in both stories is that controlling and strict parents can cause teenage rebellion.
Personal desire and choosing to conform is a battle between right and wrong, shown in the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, because Juliet chooses Romeo over everyone else, pursuing what she wants to make herself happy, but everyone else in the family views this as wrong. Juliet wants to do the right thing, which is doing what makes her happy. Lady Capulet wants to know Juliet’s idea of getting married but Juliet does not want to get married, which upsets her family and the nurse. “It is an honour that I dream not of.”

Finding Nemo teaches the importance of family and how to face your fears for those that you love. The movie focuses on two fish, Marlin and Dory trying to find Marlins lost son Nemo after fishermen took him. Since Nemo is the only family Marlin has he is very protective over him, and before he was born he grabbed on to, what was only just an egg at the time and said, “I will never let anything happen to you”.
