In recent years our societal view has evolved from a binary world of male and female, to a much broader spectrum. Some men are becoming women and some women are becoming men. This is what makes a person Transgender. Although many could argue that gender identity is different from one’s biological sex, some could also argue there is no scientific evidence of such. One factor of concern in this area is, should transgender people be allowed to play sports of the opposite sex to which they were born? This hormone is responsible for many of the physical characteristics specific to males. This precise hormone plays a role in not only the male reproductive system but the maintenance of bone and muscle development, strength and endurance. This hormone adequately explains why men develop much bigger muscles than women. Just as males produce testosterone women produce estrogen.
