Topic: College School Fees: International vs. Domestic Students
Opening:
In today’s society going to college after high school is an obligation in some’s eyes. And over the years college has been an occurrence that has been through many changes. Most colleges in Ontario were found between 1965-1967 which was just over 50 years ago. College at that time was unheard of and only those who were wealthy was able to attend. Now we are in a time were that same occurrence is back in place. Some students are avoiding to continue with their education simply because of the cost. Colleges/Universities rely on international student’s school fees over the years. And the question that goes through my head is, “Why internationals face higher tuition fees compared to those who are domestic?”
Spoken Link/Transition: To put it differently, researching this information not only opened my mind on the history and facts but I am an international student who is experiencing this financial burden.
Emotion/Story:

Yes, I know education is important and no one can take that from you but when I look at the bigger picture I just see a bunch of students who are alike and have one thing in common and that is to get an education. As domestic students you have your reasonings behind as to why other students from a foreign country is trying to compete with you. Canada is well-diverse, but I know that it should be a boundary that is made when it comes to education cost because one your parents pay other expenses that as international we
