The 2016 election was an abnormal election which led to the rise of Donald J. Trump, an outsider in political world. During the campaign then candidate Donald Trump broke away with several long traditions of a presidential candidate for example through his negative political rhetoric and scandals. Due to this, Trump’s presidency can best fit the politics of disjunction. In this paper, I argue Trump’s presidency best fits in disjunction because of the chacterititics that Trump presidency has such as disrupting order, political incompetence and due to the timing of presidency.
