Donnie Damon gave a well put presentation about community newspapers and advertisements in a small town. Donnie’s presentation was highly informative. In fact, he used numerous of concrete examples to support his presentation. For instance, he broke down the demographic of his town, Carteret, which can be very helpful. In addition, he thoroughly explained how a regular member of the community can advertise and he showed the simplicity of it. Donnie achieved his goal; he fully informed the audience about community advertising and used various examples. For instance, for a small business opening in a small town the best advertising methods are signs, public events, newsletter, and Facebook. This factor is the cost. Donnie leaves the audience without informing how much it cost. Any of audience who would be interested in advertising would not know the cost, which is very important for any business starter. On the other hand, Donnie should have gone in more depth about how often to do those public events in his town occur. Moreover, an individual would be able to estimate how many time consumers will cross his/her advertisment. As a result, a business owner will be able to determine the effectiveness of community
