Dora Has Been Replaced To the average human being, traveling sounds like the most glamourous lifestyle to live does it not? Nowadays, as most social media influencers, celebrities, and childhood cartoons glorify the countless hours they spend in a car or on a plane for the ideal experience, it seems to be a piece of cake. With no intentions of dehumanizing celebrities, when you live in the “real world,” such experiences do not come as easy, and no glorification takes place. Unless you are Dora the Explorer, it is pretty much impossible to do on your own, and even she had a sidekick. In my case, no, I am unfortunately not Dora the Explorer; however, I do have my sidekicks, my family. In the span of 10 years, I have been to thirty-three states across the United States with my two puppies, my two younger brothers, and my parents. Although I have only been to one other country, I have got the upperhand on Dora by my six partners in crime. By any stretch, it has not been easy surpassing Dora on the adventures she and I have encountered, however it was well worth while. Argumentatively, Dora the Explorer did not experience any life changing events in order to travel. Dora, at most, challenged her limitations on locations, but never experienced any real life and earth shattering occurrences. That is clearly where she and I differ, and I am able to confidently say I take pride in the good and the bad of my adventures.
