Downfall of Macbeth
In Shakespeare 's Macbeth, a noble and respectful soldier turns sour as he ends up a tragic hero because of the witch sisters.
Macbeth is a well-known soldier who receives the title Thane of Cawdor. He is a strong ally with King Duncan and the kingdom of Scotland. Until his meet with the witches... From which a complete turnaround of character appears within him. Especially his last meet with the wicked sisters that leads him down a gruesome and brutal road. With lots of pain, anguish and fear.
Victory reined against the Norwegian Army with Macbeth leading the soldiers of Scotland to defeat the enemy. The old Thane of Cawdor put to execution and Macbeth named the new Thane of Cawdor. All is well in the kingdom. "The thane of Cawdor must never be allowed to turn against us again. Go see to his execution and give his title to Macbeth."(1.2) The kingdom, especially the king knows Macbeth is noble, strong and undefeated. With his great reputation, what happens next is completely unexpected.

This is due to Macbeth 's and Lady Macbeth 's wish for power and their greed. Leading Macbeth to what will surely title him as king of Scotland. No matter the problems that they will meet. As Macbeth visits the witches yet again, he learns of his future prophecies. Two of the prophecies ' that show is seemingly good and the one prophecy is what makes Macbeth a bloodier tyrant. The prophecy that changes everything forever is the one that claims Macbeth will remain undefeated until great Birnam Wood comes to Dunsinane Hill. "Macbeth will never be beaten, until great Birnam of Wood comes to Dunsinane Hill." (4.1) All hell breaks loose after the news. Macbeth enforces stronger laws and kills Macduff 's wife and child when Macduff ventures off to England. His own army then starts turning against him and Lady Macbeth commits suicide.
