What are the importance of dreams in Of Mice And Men? Dreams are very important throughout the book, George being a slim, wise, middle aged man with very little money, and Lennie being big, jobless, and mentally challenged, dreams are all that the two men have.

While crooks has the dream to be equal with everybody, same as Lennie's dream to tend the rabbit on George and his little place they are planning on buying.
