Dear Senator Jody Hice:
I am writing to you due to the dangerous driving which I see on the roads and streets of Georgia and across the USA. From one concerned person to another I would like to bring your attention to this issue which I am sure you will agree needs to be addressed. I am sure you would also like to see safer driving conditions around you every time you go out on the roads. I would like to plead with you to change the way people drive across the state of Georgia and the USA.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration it states drunk driving and drowsy driving both forms of reckless and aggressive driving cause the most deaths on the roads and streets of Georgia and the USA followed by speeding which is the second biggest cause of traffic fatalities each and every year. While reckless driving and aggressive driving cause unnecessary crashes.
The aspects of unsafe driving which concern me most are reckless driving, aggressive driving, and speeding. This is because there are way too many drivers who tailgate, drive way over the speed limit, change lanes without indicating, and obstruct other drivers by pulling out in front of his or her vehicle. A driver who tailgates another driver who is doing the correct thing by driving below the speed limit or at about the speed limit and who is tailgated is showing incorrect behavior. As the perpetrator driver just wants to go faster than he or she should. A way to fix this problem is to have drivers drive at the speed limit or below the speed limit and impose fines and points on the driver’s license if a driver goes 1 mph over the speed
