Fried introduces Gil’s backgrounds that he is a former police officer without any experiences in running a sports facility (2). How did the Versailles Treaty help cause WW2? On my opinion, WW2 was mostly cause because of the Treaty of Versaille, to explain the Treaty, it's the document that ended WW1 by making Germany take guilt for the War and making them pay for war payments, and give up land and power. The United States abolished slavery, providing equal protection for freed slaves, and prohibited discrimination of colored voters. The Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments granted former slaves the freedom to pursue happiness, but in 1868, the “separate but equal” doctrine kept these amendments from bearing fruit. For nearly a century the “separate but equal” doctrine promoted segregation, and the Supreme Court it was constitutional to keep blacks and whites separate as long as they had equal rights to education, public transportation, and restrooms. In addition to their low population, earlier Asians lived in an era when racial discrimination and oppression impeded their access into sports (Zhao & Park, 2013). Asians had been discriminated against since the arrival of Chinese immigrants as cheap labor for the railroad and mining industries during the mid-1800s. This discrimination became more obvious during World War II when thousands of mostly Japanese Americans were forced out of their properties, separated from family and friends, and placed in internment camps. There they were subject to horrific living conditions, extreme deprivation and brutality.
In life, having to overcome an obstacle or barrier isn't an uncommon thing. I've been through many difficult obstacles but there was one in particular that took much effort and a few of Jackie Robinson's nine values, until I could finally overcome this particular obstacle. This obstacle was a lack of confidence and self-doubt. A few causes of self doubt would be low self esteem, excessive criticism in the past, or an inner voice or critic that encourages negative talk about one's self.

Studies show only about three percent of college athletes go on to play in the pros. That is why it’s important to focus and work on their relationships and to spend at much time earning the degree versus playing time. An athlete’s major provides an insight of their identity. Your education and knowledge are something no one can take from you. Many athletes go and utilize their degree once their career is over.
I am proud of this accomplishment and enjoy playing this role on my team very much. Within my two high school years I have found that I have a high work ethic and enthusiasm in my work. I am proud at where I stand in my classes with the high grades that I achieve. I have a 4.0 GPA and a clean disciplinary record.
