At the turn of the millennium, advancements in technology began to change everyday life worldwide. With the development of the internet, people can connect in more efficient ways through the digital matrix. Although fears of the development of media such as this and its predecessors such as radio and television, these innovations have helped create a worldwide culture based on the web, and the fears of a dystopian future based on technological advancements have dispersed. In such a short amount of time, we have went from the Nokia to the iPhone, from landline calls to text messages but at this point in our lives, we must ask ourselves if a limit exists when it comes to the development of technology and media, and question what the future holds for us.
