I have always been passionate about working with children and have been inspired by my own experiences with younger siblings. I am driven to make a positive contribution to Early Childhood Studies and believe that a degree in this field is the perfect way to do so. My experience has helped shape my views on the importance of creating a supportive environment for children, and I am confident that I have the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in this degree. My innate ability to connect with children and love of learning prepare me to begin the Early Childhood Studies degree. I am eager to expand my knowledge of child development, psychology, and education. This course provides the opportunity to pursue my interest and advance skills.

My babysitting experiences have given me essential skills that I am convinced will help me excel in an Early Childhood Studies degree. I have learned how to stay calm and patient in stressful situations, as well as how to provide a safe and supporting environment for children. My experience as a babysitter has taught me the value of encouraging children's creativity and problem-solving abilities. These skills have inspired me to make positive contributions to the field. As a reading buddy, I support and encourage children who struggle with reading and are reluctant to read aloud. As I supported them in becoming strong readers and thoughtful people, I felt a sense of satisfaction and achievement. I helped them by explaining unknown words, phrases, and new concepts to a young child.
