Economic Decision Making The decisions a company make are vital to the success or failure of the business. In the business world, managers’ responsibilities are becoming more challenging and difficult. There are outside economic constraints that affect the business decisions made by companies. Many of those constraints are caused by the terms in which production of goods are produced and markets for the good. Increased complexity in the business world is caused by rapid technology change in product innovation, departmental processes, as well as marketing strategies and sales practices. Budget constraints can influence almost all economic decisions. This is because the total of all cost should not exceed a company capital. The disposal of cash is typically not an issue in economic decision because the availability of credit allows individuals to spend more than they actually have. Cost and benefits are two additional factors that must be taken in consideration when making economic decisions.
Christian v/s a Non- Christian Most individuals make decisions about the use of money every day. It may be to buy lunch, go to the movies or take a trip. Constraints faced by Christian leaders vary a lot dependent upon the company position. Christians consider particular factors when making economic decisions. Such factors include; reflection on past decisions, can they afford it, opportunity cost and future trade-offs. On the other hand, a non-Christian based many economic decisions on emotions, fads, family and friends, and advertising. Christian considers incentives that are valuable and will be beneficial in the long run. A non-Christian only considers what’s in it for them at a particular moment.
