The 1900’s were a revolutionary century for American Agriculture thanks to the improvement of industrial technology and other advances in the field. The industrial technology ranged from many things, but machines had now given way for a decrease in manpower on the farms. (Farias, 2012) In 1906, in response to Upton Sinclair’s novel, The Jungle, The Pure Food and Drug Law was created, which required the USDA to inspect the sanitation of agricultural businesses.
An economy that is good is very important in a country. In 1929, on the last day of trading, President Hoover did announce that the economy of United States was fundamentally sound. This announcement made the Department of labor in United States to predict that in the next year, 1930, there would be an increase in the number of employments. Things did not go as expected because the economy became bad. This made most investors and even the public in general, withdraw their money from banks because they feared banks would get out of business.

The period of 1865-1900 was a time of significant transformation in American agriculture, as technological advancements, government policies, and shifts in economic conditions reshaped the landscape of the farming industry. These changes had far-reaching effects on farmers across the country, who were forced to adapt to new challenges and opportunities. With constant material improvement in exports, the present vision is the total foreign trade for the whole year would be approximately 25 per cent below 1929, and even perhaps 20 per cent below the average of the years through 1925 and
Between 1877 and 1920, America was reborn economically and industrially, which go hand in hand. The United States owe all of this economic growth as the result of Reconstruction during the post-Civil War era. From the 1880s and on, there was a “rapid expansion of factory production, mining, and railroad construction” (Foner 605). The expansion out west contributed to the expansion because companies were no longer limited to working either in the south or the New England area, and “a working free labor system” (Foner 571) established by the Freedman’s Bureau, an agency created during Reconstruction. Andrew Carnegie was a leader for helping the United States being able to be successful in industrializing the country by creating companies along every step of the way to construct a
America began to prosper in the 1920’s because of industrial production being up, wages were rising, and the unemployment rates were low. After World War I America was the world’s leading economic power, because of all the technological changes happening in the industrial companies. Technological changes were happening in many industries, for example Henry Ford began to make his cars on an assembly line, which enabled him to sale more cars and cheaper products. Moi Banerjee 1/7/14 CP: 1 APUSH DBQ Technology, government policy and economic conditions changed the American agriculture drastically in the period 1865-1900. Technology increased hugely over the years but the prices were outrageous to the agriculture society. Because farmers could not afford anything, they lived in poor conditions. Although the farmers were the “front-face” of the society and provided everything for the country, people were forgetting about the, and they were not being represented enough in the government and its policy.
The Statement “Between 1870 and 1990, the United States underwent a great deal of political change, but most Americans experienced very little social change” is not entirely correct. The United States did encounter a lot of political change between 1870 and 1990, but the United States also encountered a lot of social change. Some examples of social change throughout American History are industrialization and urbanization, Progressive Era Reforms, and the Civil Rights movements. From 1870 to 1990 the United States experienced a great deal of political change but also experienced a great deal of social change.
The 1970s was a continuation of the previous decade, with various marginalized groups still fighting for equality. Americans also protested against the Vietnam War. The decade represented a rejection of the previous decade. The rise of the "New Right" did not change the public's perception of the government. Its confidence in the administration was damaged by President Richard Nixon's actions during the Watergate Scandal.
The 1970s is known as the era of colorful and funky music that was well known as disco and newly improved technology that would lead to the greater America. Despite being known as the era of disco and technology, America during the 1970s had ongoing issues from the 60s by cause of foreign conflicts and domestic affairs. Conflict arose especially as a result of war and racial inequality. With Johnson, the 36th president, announcing his last day as president it was believed that there would be new hope for the upcoming era. However, it was only the beginning and the continuation from the 60s in which it impacted Americans politically and culturally.

Agriculture plays a vital role in American economy, and there is evidently some strengths and weaknesses in this business.
Persepolis doesn 't portray just one theme, but multiple. Including the themes such as revolution, imperialism, and nationalism. There were also other themes such as loss of innocence and danger. The main character isn’t just another girl who lived in Iran during the war. She was 10 years old when the war began, but unlike a common 10 year old, she cared about what was going on in her country.
What makes up a good paper? When I personally think about what makes up a strong paper my mind immediately jumps to having an idea strongly backed with a bunch of information and evidence, however this isn't always the case. Of course, having evidence and support is essential, but I came to the realization that there is such thing as having too much information. In my case, this lead to me writing a broad thesis to permit for all my material to fit into my paper. My worst paper written was due to a weak thesis because my central idea wasn't narrow and focused.
