I am writing a paper on Edgar Allan Poe. This paper will be about his life. It will focus on his life. And his struggles and his careers he also had a lot of mishaps. He has written a lot of good novels during his life time. It will also be about all the different ways people think he died. These are all the things people have said about him.
He was born in Boston Massachusetts on January 19th 1809 (Robert Giordano). His mother and father was named David and Elizabeth. David was born in Baltimore on July 8th 1784 (Robert Giordano). Elizabeth was born in England 1796 (Robert Giordano). There a lot of different reason he died no one really knows. He wrote “Tell-Tale Heart” I read this book in class with my English teacher Ms. Holland. It was a good book. It was so mysterious and tragic and makes you wonder what’s going to happen next. People say “That Poe was the saddest and the strangest figure in American Literary history is Edgar Allan Poe (A.W Ward).
Edgar Allan Poe was thrown out of west point. He also gave up on college. He also had a splitting residence with Mrs. Clemn (Robert Giordano). He soon began drinking a lot and also became in debt (Robert Giordano). Since he had no money in 1827 he joined the army he was only 18 years old (Robert Giordano). During his years in the army he became a sergeant major. Two year later Edgar’s step mom died. He joined west point a school in 1830 he didn’t stay long because his step dad wouldn’t send him any money. He has wrote a lot of books. I like the story he wrote “Tell-Tail Heart.” I love how it’s mysterious and a thriller. I liked it a lot. It was created to be a scary and to think what’s going to happen next.
