I have come across some inspirational teachers who have had a great importance in my life in making decisions and choices by following their teachings. Being able to perform the same inspirational function in the lives of these children and helping them become something valuable in the future will be truly amazing. It's fascinating seeing a child evolving in front of your eyes, under your guidance and helping them get back on their feet when they fall. Whilst applying for colleges and picking the right subjects for me, I received very little guidance in what route I should take and so because of this I was unsure of what I wanted to do in the future. As a result, adults have always trusted me to babysit or help tutor their children as they know I'm responsible and mature enough to handle any situation. I have always liked helping children, friends and family either by mentoring or just simply giving advice because I believe it can lead an individual in a positive direction by just offering attention, empathy and compassion. For work experience, I had the opportunity to work at a beauty salon, this experience did help me understand myself better and how hard you have to work in a specialist place to achieve great results. I was able to improve on qualities and skills such as communication skills, the ability to multi task and having a friendly demeanour. These sort of qualities will help whilst working with children as interaction with adults is a key part of a child's development. My hobbies include reading, drawing and painting. Since a little girl, reading has always allowed me to get lost in a different world and have more of a highly vivid imagination
