There is an estimated 60,000 wolves in Canada. Farley Mowat studies the grey wolf in his book Never Cry Wolf (1963). Throughout the book, Mowat uses the rhetorical strategies pathos, logos, and personification to disprove the misconception about wolves. The book is about a scientist (Farley Mowat) that flies into the Canadian Barrens in order to research wolves. His goal is to prove that wolves are killing thousands of caribou for sport, but he find that the wolves are not to blame for the decrease in caribou populations.

Because for some people, there is or was not any such as luck or escape from the situations and problems like we have today. In the antebellum South and a prison camp Camp 14 in North Korea, their lives are different and hard. In addition, they all lived in the conditions that threaten, oppress, and brainwash them. For them, they don’t have any choice for education and freedom.
The old gray male wolf was caught through one of the man-made traps. “His front left foot was injured by the trap” (Bass 22). Once re-released into the wild, the effects of the injury from the trap ended up being the reason this wolf died. Without humans interfering on the wolves this wouldn’t have happened. Another effect humans had on the wolves dealt with the pups in captivity.
Never Cry Wolf by Farley Mowat is a non-fiction story about naturalist Farley Mowat, on an expedition to find out why so many caribou were being killed. Mowat’s superiors believed that wolves were killing the caribou. He spent almost a year investigating the wolves’ way of life focusing on a small pack made up of two males and a female with her pups. Mowat camped near their den and observed their eating and hunting habits. He observed that wolves rarely ate caribou and when they did, it was the weak and sick ones.

Moreover, since the red wolf was the first wolf species that the colonists came into contact with, it was also the first to be persecuted (Hinton et al.). The consequences of this first interaction have ricochet across history as the red wolf was hunted to extinction in 1980. Even now, after extensive interventions to breed the wolves in captivity and reintroduce them, the red wolf is till an endangered species (“Red Wolf” 2017).

Now that there is more wolves, there needs to be more food and there isn’t enough deer or rodents so the wolves go for the livestock. Nestorious was born around 381 to 386 AD. He was trained to eventually be in a high governmental position from the time he was a young boy. He received his training from Theodore of Mopsuestia, in Antioch, and eventually became the archbishop of Constantinople, after his life of living in a monastery as a monk. Nestorious had become well known for his teachings and sermons, which later caused a disagreement that led to the loss of his title and job. In fact, he was condemned and forced to be removed from his position as Archbishop.
