When Eminem was little he would change schools two to three times a year just imagine doing that that would be so stressful and he was always the outcast and he was that kid who would getting beat up in the bathroom or hallways. His mother in 1999 was accused of physically abusing him and being an addict for most of his childhood and the case was settled at $25,000. He even failed the ninth grade 3 times and then eventually just dropped out and he said that english was his favorite subject and he wanted to have every word so that when he needed a word he would just had to think about it instead of looking for it in books. But sadly his album never really sold because no one knew his work so he went back to the drawing board and came out with The Slim Shady EP which was discovered by Dr. Dre, the legendary rapper and former producer. Which he also listened to all of Eminem’s cassettes in 1997 he was very impressed and signed him to his Interscope Records. After 2 years of working together they came out with Slim Shady LP it was so popular that it sold over 3 million copies and his first single My Name Is. Later that year Marshall and Kim Mathers got married. Eminem released his second studio album in May 2000, which is named after his father Marshall Mathers LP and it sold over 19 million copies. Which he won a Grammy Award for Best rap Album. Then in 2001 he reconnected with his friends from D12 and they made the album Devils Night and he did a solo album and it was Encore and was less popular and also criticized. Later on that year Eminem was in a heated divorce with his ex-wife Kim and they maintained a good and settled on and off again relationship and still producing very little
