Have you ever wondered why New York City is one of the most protected cities in the world? On September 11, 2001 there were four terrible attacks in the United States of America. There were attacks on both of the Twin Towers in New York City, one on the Pentagon in Washington DC, and one was headed for the either the Capitol building or the White house in Washington DC but was taken down in a field in Pennsylvania. The plane that was taken down was crashed into a field because two brave men knocked out the pilots and put the plane down in a safe location without many people. Over 3,000 people were killed in the attacks.

A monument 's size, location, and materials are all considerations in planning and creating a memorial to the past. In any case, the need to honor or pay homage to a specific person or event is prevalent within society. A monument has to mean something to the society it is place in. The location of a monument is perhaps the most important aspect of creating a successful monument to honor and show respect to a person or event.

V. SUMMARY OF THE ARTICLE. Dr. Francesca Filbey’s article highlights the brain and how it is biologically wired in adults and juveniles with addictions, whether it is alcohol or drugs. Filbey (2013) discusses how a person is vulnerable (family history) or biologically (brain impulses) prone to addiction, as well as what kind of treatments can be done to help those that suffer from addiction. She analyzes different studies relating to each area and how effective they were.

The Empire State Poll (ESP) is the first of its kind annual general survey of adults, age 18 and over, who are residents of New York State.
