James King is one of two people being tried for the murder of Alguinaldo Nesbitt, as well as the robbery of his drugstore. He is guilty of felony murder, and there is much evidence to support this verdict. Bobo Evans, another perpetrator of this crime, “places Mr. King in the drugstore with him on the 22nd of December. This testimony was backed up by Lorelle Henry” (Myers 256-257). This is significant because Henry is a reliable witness, and she is an elderly, retired librarian with no criminal activity.
On 12/02/16 I arrived at 6616 Noble Road in reference to a burglary call. Upon arrival I made contact with Gene Carmical. Mr. Carmical said sometime between 1230 hours and 1400 hours, this date, someone entered his residence through a window on the northeast corner of his residence and took several items including guns and gold and silver coins. Mr. Carmical showed me where entry was made into his residence. At this location, I observed where someone had broken the upper sash of a window in a screened-in patio which is connected to the residence at the den.
George Potzgo, 7 Darlin Dr. Reading, Pa. 19609(484) 638-0861was advised of the identity of Investigator Sean P. Brennan and of the confidential nature and purpose of the interview, Potzgo, provided the following information: George Potzgo has been a constable for over 12 years. One time Potzgo explained, he couldn’t remember the date; he was standing with Judge Hadzick, Kylie Scott a security guard and her sister Ashley Scott who is also a constable outside Judge Hadzick’s courtroom. Ashley Scott showed Hadzick something on her phone. Potzgo didn’t see what it was on Ashley’s phone, but Ashley read it out loud for everyone to hear. Potzgo couldn’t remember exactly what it said but it said something about a threesome or foursome between the constables and the judge.
Fever “Shaft of death fly closer and closer to us every day” (Dr. Benjamin Rush). In the novel Fever 1793 William Farnsworth Cook is the grandfather of Matilda Cook. He was also Captain of the Pennsylvania Fifth Regiment. One pivotal moment in the chaters life is when William tried to protect Matilda from the attackers that had invaded the coffeehouse.
Sandra Petrocelli, is an Assistant District Attorney that prosecuted Steven Harmon and James King and called them Monsters. Kathy O’Brien, is Steven’s attorney and she tries to make sure that he receives a not guilty verdict. James King is Steven’s older friend that asked Steven to be in his crew to rob a drugstore. Richard “Bobo” Evans was accused of being in the store during the robbery and he wanted a lighter sentence so he testified against Steven and James King. Osvaldo Cruz, is another gang member that was a part of the robbery.

Robert Newton’s novel The Black Dog Gang, analyses the life of a group of children living in the Rocks, Sydney in the 1900’s. Through the protagonist, Newton shows us the hardships that families often experienced and overcame thanks to friendship and loyalty. For the duration of the book, Frankie Maguire, Mickey Collins & Gordon McCallister show that they are true loyal friends to each other and the rest of the gang. Frankie consistently shows friendship and loyalty, whereas Mickey, with a very strong soul, is loyal to those who he considers honourable.
Imagine you are living in Mississippi in the 1950’s, a time of extreme racism, you are an African American man who has been faced with a choice to stand up for your rights or stay idle and pray for the best. Medgar Evers was born in Decatur to James and Jessie Evers, he was one of four children. He fought in World War II and went to Alcorn state where he was a member of the debate team and choir. Medgar Evers was a brave Civil Rights worker from Mississippi whose life was taken from him prematurely by a reluctant KKK member. When he was murdered the initial shock was tremendous because he was the first state field secretary of the NAACP in Mississippi.
Geyer had a trouble time keeping up with Holmes and where he took the children. “Geyer set out on his search on the evening of June 26, 1895, a hot night in a hot summer” (Larson 342). Despite the hot weather, Geyer never gave up on finding the children. “The detectives trudged from one hotel to the next. The day got hotter and hotter” (Larson 343).
“Hold up, Hold up, i’m coming, i’m coming!” screamed Jack. Jack was a 13 yr old boy that was very bright and smart. He was very popular at his school Cleveland Middle School. He is in 8th grade and he has been going to the same school since kindergarten.
When one of the main characters, Colonel Mann of the CIA, finds out that his old friend Hank Dean had been accused of being a K.G.B operative, he explains his contemplation to his friend and admits that he has, “got the choice of handing [the case] over to another investigating officer...or of bending the rules and try to make it easy on him… ’I don't want to believe it’... ’I was just going to press on with the investigation and keep stumm’” (Deighton p.85). Readers expect the “tough guy” who is always cracking jokes and asserting power, to do just that.
Chandler produces the classic detective novel through his use of conniving criminals, corrupt police, and characters that are slighted by the actions of those in their lives. The novels chief detective, Philip Marlowe, is unable to eliminate every criminal that crosses his path, much to his dismay. Although most of the offenders are apparent from the beginning of the novel, some are not revealed until towards the end. Consider mob boss Eddie Mars; well known by the police officers, along with his hitman Canino, yet no one seems to do anything about it. The absence of action is not a result of ineptitude; it is merely from the mob having control over everything, spanning from bootlegging to covering up murders.
Huey is a very clever 10-year-old kid, who once in a while grins or giggles, and perceives and disdains the absurdities (both evident and saw) of the general public in which he lives. His criticism regularly touches upon subjects, for example, legislative issues, religion, the media, organizations and partnerships, African-American society and American culture all in all. Having a tendency to be tenacious in both way and discourse, Huey has shown a profundity of understanding that would appear to surpass his young age, for example, knowing generally what is going to happen later on taking into account the activities and identities of the general population included. For instance, in "The Fundraiser," Huey precisely predicts what will happen
The authors of the Golden Age shows their faith and belief in the detectives (emphatically vulnerable detectives). The detectives in these stories dominate the plot and solve the mystery case by influencing the perspective of the reader. The detectives mostly are self-conscious and Golden Age does not expect the reader to solve the crime ahead of the detective. They are decidedly unaggressive, non-god like, nondominant and do not exude ‘macho-like’ qualities of a ‘real he-man’. In the Detective Fiction, detectives fall into three broad categories; amateurs, private investigators, and the professional police.
. Christie’s detective world is very much a product of the post World War I ‘modernist’ cynicism which also rendered in humans, a sense of introspection. As Poirot says, “It is the brain, the little grey cells on which one must rely. One must seek the truth within, not without.”
