Characters- Ender - Is the main character and is given that because he is chosen to save the world from the buggers.

Peter - He is Enders evil and cruel evil brother.

Valentine - She is Enders older sister and is the only person that truly loves him.

Colonel Graff - He is the person that uses Ender to fight the buggers.

Summary- Ender Wiggin is the third born in a family of children that are extremely intelligent, is chosen by international military forces to save the world from havoc and death. Before being chosen Ender wears a strange monitor that lets the heads of the military to see stuff as Ender does. Ender's older brother Peter and his older sister Valentine also wore this, although neither was selected, or did they have it for …show more content…

Ender has the love of Valentine, his older sister, but he also has the trait of ruthlessness of Peter, his older brother. Ender does not want to cause hurt to anyone, but when he is met with a pack of students led by the bully Stilson, Ender knows that he has to do it. At age 6 he beats Stilson until he dies, even though he does not know he is doing it at the time. Ender can be a killer like his brother. But Ender hates that quality. Other people put him in situations where his defensive side turns into his bad side, but Ender always wishes for events to be ended without violence. His compassion is his strongest trait, and it bonds people to him; his ruthlessness wins their undoubted faith in him as a commander. Or at least that is what Colonel Graff …show more content…

Before being chosen Ender wears a strange monitor that lets the heads of the military to see stuff as Ender does. Ender's older brother Peter and his older sister Valentine also wore this, although neither was selected, or did they have it for as long of duration as Ender, and Peter will never get over this. Peter hates Ender, and even when the monitor is taken off it doesn't do anything to decrease Peters anger. The it is the same of Ender's friends in school, and he is forced into brutally beating and killing the leader of a group of bullies in order to defend himself. Even though Valentine tries to protect Ender from Peter, he is only protected from his brother when Colonel Graff of the International Fleet comes to take Ender away to Battle School.
