Environmental Issues Visual Analysis The image that I have decided to analyze pertains to an important environmental factor that I believe is not always the first things on our mind when we step on our Atlantic beaches. The image has a very serious mood from which it includes an orange governmental wildlife agency sign posted on a beach that states, “Loggerhead turtle nesting area”, and the subtext says, “Eggs, Hatchlings, Adults, and Carcasses are Protected By Federal & State Law”. This image seems fairly recent from its picture’s quality. The image also includes what it appears to be a neighborhood, and this has to wonder how does this restriction affect the behavior of the surrounding citizens. Also, it says even the carcasses of the animal are protected, so I wonder even more about the importance of this issue. …show more content…

Doing this will help you better understand what the image is actually portraying. The image really triggers some strong emotions, especially to people who care deeply for the environment. It also is very much bound by its time, due the fact that a large portion of sea life is constantly at risk of endangerment. In the image I can see a neighborhood in the background and the shore of a beach in its foreground; two worlds divided emotionally. This issue must be stressful to the surrounding community. For one, it may interfere with pleasant walks along the shore. Secondly, this issue may be frustrating for tourist as well, who anticipate on visiting these beaches. More importantly, this sign acts as protection for Loggerhead Sea Turtles. I believe that the feelings of the community do not overweigh the issue of an endangered
