The loud noises came from every direction, echoing off all the walls making them even louder. The August heat was at all time high, even the fans couldn’t cool it down, they never could with the size of the building. Everyone was in their spots, their arms moving as they worked with their wood pieces and built their custom products. Shannon stood there, the edgebander in front of her as she did her work as well. Today was definitely not the day to be working. Hours passed by, a couple carts have been done and put together and moved to the other side of the shop. As she grabbed the next cart she noticed that it was a product that had never been build before. She grabbed the 1 inch thick boards one by one in the machine. She was on her fourth to last board and she started to put it into the machine when her entire body went into shock. She drew her hand back quickly, putting pressure on it to stop any bleeding.
