I have some experience working in an animal hospital as a co-op student, seeing all the different duties of veterinarians and veterinary technicians. I have learned about vaccines, a variety of illnesses, and their treatments. I have been involved in surgeries and dental procedures as well as general appointments with animals and their owners. Moreover, I have a kitten at home that I am solely responsible for. I care for her every day, giving her plenty of attention, love, and endearment. Taking care of my kitten has given me a better understanding of responsibility. I have a strong background in the sciences, including biology and chemistry, which I have taken in grades 11 and 12.
