The bible has a lot to say about the heart. The word "heart" is mentioned over 700 times in the Bible, and it is used in different ways. The heart is a muscle in our body that is the main source of getting our blood supply throughout our body. The blood circulates through our body and releases oxygen and nutrients for and to our body. We must make sure that our hearts are taken care of so that the heart can do what it needs to distribute that blood. If the heart fails to do what it needs to we initially die a physical death. If the heart fails to do what it needs to spiritually we will die spiritually. You can exercise your heart with worship and praise by jumping up and down, dance before your Abba or simply glide yourself across the room as if you were dancing with Abba. Proverbs 23:7 says: “As a man thinketh, so is he." Proverbs 23:7. Kind of like what Victor Lindlahr said in the early 1900s: “You are what you eat.” Are you eating from the junk food of the world or are you eating from the Word of Life, the Word of Yahweh? What is teaching you, inspiring you, reminding you, holding you, and mastering you? What is your spiritual food intake consisting of?
Yahweh knows every secret of our heart, we can hide from man what is in our hearts and how we are feeling, but we can not hide from Yahweh, Yahweh is all knowing and all seeing. Yahweh has placed the law (His Word) on our hearts and our minds. We need to just activate those laws in our hearts and minds. The way we activate it is by our faith, by our obedience. So we must put our faith and obedience into action.
The heart and the mind are used to reference one another in the bible. The heart is used to think or believe, feel, and the ability to chose. The mind is used as our intellect to help us chose our actions, to help us make our choices, and determine what feeling will come of those choices. The heart and the mind they work together. But one must be careful because the heart and the mind can be deceptive. Yahweh has given us a choice, chose life or death, blessings or curses in Deuteronomy 30:3. Those choices are made with our hearts and minds, governing the centre of our
