As people grow wiser the more knowledge they have, however as Bertrand Russell said they’ll have more doubts. And the one with little knowledge seems to be more confident. The mass difficulties this world is having is caused by “stupid” people who are so full of confidence, mostly leading to overconfidence and ended up failing to achieve their goals, while wiser people or as we can say the intelligence doubt everything, reach conclusion and produce a result. Generally confidence can be defined as the state of feeling certain about the truth of something, while if it is defined in the ToK context knowing what you're good at, the value you provide, and acting in a way that conveys that to others confidence is the belief people has from a choice or proposition that are based on evidence that is correct, it is a form of certainty.
