As a member of a minority group the conflict theory speaks to me a lot, we try to get all the power that is/was taken from us. We have to proof ourselves on a daily basis to society and ourselves that we are equals and we should have the same amount of respect as anyone else. Even though many mic even though many many many might say there 's no there 's no inequality or power difference within race groups or ethnicity groups there is. As a minority I see inequalities and power difference a lot and is not from people my age but is from people who are older than. Who believe because I am a Latina woman I don’t deserve the same rights or respect. Also they don’t want to hear what others have faced with racial inequality. As a society we let a lot of discrimination happen and some go without being said or recognized. We become very selfish and money. power hungry that has slowly let our society fall. Society should learn and recognize what racial group we are giving all the power and how they are using that power. Minority groups has the perfect amount of people to make a change. But what we lack is the courage to take a stand. I tough that we have moved on from isolation a certain group of people and putting them down.But I failed to realize that society goes around money and power. Society wants to put down as much as they can minority groups. This is a very big problem in the United states. I don’t see this aspect of society changing, with time things will only get worst.
