Declaration of Independence
Living in one nation under a disobedient ruler of his/her own country can be painful and depressing. As well as trying to find a new way to break through the cycle of cruelty under government rule. We all do not want to go through the same kind of procedure and then, suffer through it. With the amount of warfare and usurpations that arose in the American Revolution, the states deserve its freedom from justification. Throughout this document known as, “The Declaration of Independence” Thomas Jefferson will develop his idea on creating independence for the American colonists and cutting ties with Great Britain.

His description was known to help justify our rights to establish a new form of government. The King’s way of having this much abusive power in his own country would impact the American colonists. American colonists could not take his harsh rules that create his own society, so they wanted to form their own government and escape from this tyrannical conflict. By informing us that, “He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good” (Jefferson), it clearly states that these rules of the Law should be approved and followed as necessary. The approvals for these Laws are an important role for government because that is how great power is developed for the states. Essentially, states are more likely to become more independent as long as the rules are vigorous enough to be followed. For Jefferson to describe more about the King’s oppressive society, will lead us to bigger changes for the whole government. Without taking the chance to satisfy the government, by any means necessary, about these abusive and painful conflicts, there will be no difference for our system of government.
