Gun control in America has gotten out of control and no one can stop it from growing. Teachers are now starting to say they should carry guns for their safety. Others say that it’s their right to carry their guns around as their second amendment. The number of guns in our country axed the number our police force have, there are approximately 270 million firearms possessed by civilians, and only 897,000 carried by police. It is essential to have a better gun control in America to regulate the gun flow.
There have been a number of school shootings in our country and teachers are scared to attend their jobs without a weapon to protect themselves and their students. This has been a big argument around the country on if they should be permitted or should it be despised. People think that giving a teacher a gun will help keep them safe but what they are really saying is that more guns = safer. We are trying to bring the number of guns in the country down, not boosting it up by giving every teacher a gun.

This happens because guns in our country axed the number our police force have, there are approximately 270 million firearms possessed by civilians, and only 897,000 carried by police. People can buy firearms over private sales in the U.S. without attending a back ground check before possessing the weapon. This includes sales to criminals, felons, and people with a history of severe mental illness.
