The right to bear arms has been a controversial issue ever since James Madison established it as the second amendment of the constitution. The second amendment states, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed” (US Const. amend. II). Those in favor of the second amendment, believe that arms are used for protection, dangerous situations, and sports.
A weapon in the wrongs hands is the maximum danger humanity can face. Nowadays, violence and delinquency in society are viewed as the maximum problem solver. Humanity is full of chaos; hate and envy seize our souls. Guns are the ultimate security for some citizens but for others, these add to a feeling of defenselessness. Throughout history, any topic related to guns means a plethora of problems.
Gun violence is a public health hazard, just like smoking, car accidents, and drunk driving. In the United States, nearly a day goes by without someone becoming a victim of gun violence. Every time a high school shooting rampage occurs, right-leaning media pundits dust off their old-fashioned rhetoric and try to explain away the problem. They don’t even bother to think about who the audience would be for their trite talking points; therefore, they are always the same: guns don’t kill people, a good armed guy vs. a bad armed guy, the Second Amendment, and so on and so forth. Then, the spiral of violence continues to whip.
Everyone deserves the right to own their own guns, and should have the right to carry them wherever they go. If we were to do that then maybe all the shootings would no 't have happened, and more people would be protected rather than injured. All general topics have people for or against it, so is gun control as important as everybody thinks it is or is it overrated? The United States Constituion says this in Amendment 2:- “ A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” The Second Amendment should in no way be changed or banned.
When it all comes down to the use of guns, or any weapon against another, there is always three issues that most come across: do I actually have the nerve to go through with it, can I do this and be okay mentally, and can I truly put others lives before mine? These questions, these logical thoughts, are frankly the most important aspects to using any weapon against another. Even if it is in the intent to protect another, you still must consider these facets before doing anything that could bring more harm to others than aid. In relation to this, it shows that these same ideals process through teacher’s, as well as any adult’s, mind frame. Trusting someone not certified and trained thoroughly for an immense period of time with a weapon to protect young children and other adults would be putting the kids and the protector at risk.
The use of and the owning of guns is a very hot and debated topic in society today. For many, this is a life and death debate due to the recent and numerous school shootings. These school shootings have caused an outcry for more gun control, specifically in relation to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. Despite these calls, increased gun control is not the answer. Most gun owners’ use their guns responsibly and for good purposes.

However, logic dictates that a person who is in a blind rage will use whatever is available to them at the immediate moment to commit a crime.
Your second amendment rights are being taken away. In recent years, the government has been working to create laws to ban U.S. citizen’s right to own firearms. Not only is it more difficult to purchase guns, in today’s world, but soon people will be required to release the guns they already own. The government believes this will avoid shootings. However, gun laws will not prevent gun violence.
Why Guns Are Needed We live in a society today where every year, there are multiple mass shootings across the country. Many blame it on the gun but is that actually the case. Being able to carry makes the public be able to better protect or use their guns for self defense.

A study conducted on November 26, 2013 showed that bans on weapons did not significantly affect murder rates at the state level (Lane, 5). Moreover, even if the rules and regulations are executed on gun control, not all criminals obey the law.

In recent years, the number of mass shooting has risen to about one mass shooting per day in the United States. The country is divided with some wanting to reevaluate our gun control laws and either ban or add additional regulations to the purchase of guns. Others say it is our right for Americans to own guns and something the founding fathers considered important to put in the Bill of Rights. The number of firearm sales has risen with the number of mass shooting many Americans question if banning guns or certain guns could help decrease the number of gun violence deaths.
Everyday in the United States, ninety families are changed forever; guns claim an average of ninety lives every day in the United States, 33,000 lives in a single year. Gun control has been a debate in the United States for many years and is constantly thrusted back into the public’s attention by horrific shootings. These shootings constantly cause individuals to petition the government to place stricter and stricter regulations of guns. However, these policies cannot be the solution to this problem. To determine a solution that will be both effective and constitutional, we must look at statistics and research that has been conducted to determine the best course of action.

The incidents that have occurred have been a big impact in people 's lives. Yet no one with power has spoken about the problems regarding the recent shooting. See, there are two main sides of gun control, the side that agrees and the side that doesn’t. People who agree believe that no one should be able to own a gun, or that there should simply be stricter gun control laws.
