It is well known that Australia is a nation of immigrants, which is why our legislative and regulatory framework consists of over “3,000 pages, 97 visa categories and nine bridging visa categories 1”. The current Liberal Prime-Minster, Malcolm Turnball along with other pre-existing governments have contributed and focused on maintaining a safe Australian boarder.
