45 million people are in poverty today most hopeless others clinging to the last bit of hope they have. They pray things will get better, that their children will have a future or that there will be food on the table tonight. How does poverty affects kids and health, illness and medical care? Just how bad is poverty getting? How can we end poverty? Health, illness and medical care are all things people in poverty struggle with. The poor are more likely to have many kinds of health issues. Some Include infant mortality, earlier adulthood mortality and mental issues. Most don’t do to well in school because of hunger. Early problems will affect not only the present but their future to. They will find it hard to maintain a stable job if they have certain mental problems. It is uncertain how much of poor peoples lack of health is caused for being in poverty.
