Should Cuts Be Made to English Social Welfare?
There is a system which plays a key role in the protection and promotion of the national economy and social well-being of Britain citizens, namely that the Social Welfare system. Unfortunately, it is being abused by people. For this reason, it should be reduced, or even abolished.
The initial principles of the Social Welfare system was equitable of wealth, and public responsibility of the minimal provisions for a good life, therefore the United Kingdom has become the ideal place that overseas immigrants flocking to. Not for others, just for a better life. And I agree. Everyone has a right to pursue a better life, but for the society as a whole, extravagance of social welfare would collapse sooner or later the lion (the United Kingdom) who just recovered from injury (Economic crisis in 2008). The impact of unrestrained spending of social welfare is enormous. It is the perpetrator of national overspending in recent years.
In fact, the negative impact on the national economy is beyond everyone’s imagination if the national government continues to increase the spending on the social benefit. …show more content…

Housing and family benefits could be the main reason for government overspending in recent years among these five areas of spending. The government spent £24 billion on family and children in 2014 and £29 billion on social exclusion.
